The Daiwa D Wave 12′ Surf is a really nice general beach fishing rod which is also best teamed up with a fixed spool reel. It is easy to cast and is also well suited to most fishing situations on clean to mixed beaches. The three piece blank makes the rod easy to transport and store. It has a nice casting action and is therefore very easy to use with just a simple overhead cast delivering good performance.
